Core drills can be produced in several ways – each way providing different characteristics.

For example, Bavelloni make one type of drill specifically designed for drilling inside CNC machines. Made from stainless steel with a tapered end, pressed diamond tip and slotted bottom, these characteristics allow the glass to be drilled from one side on a CNC machine to reduce shelling.
